This is the regular price. Not a deal. But better than Kingsford IMO. I like mixing these with mesquite charcoal.

It's not a deal because it's literally the normal price. The entire point of this site is to inform people of when prices are LOWER than normal. That's what a deal is.

Yep. Used to be Walmart had the superior texas style briquettes (the bag without the blue top) that would come in and out of stock all the time. But now this formula is available nearly all the time for $9.97.
The texas style is a bit better. But this is still one of the best briquettes for the price. I always add a bag to get free shipping for WM orders.

This is a 'deal' site, an everyday price can be a deal when it is still cheaper than anything else in comparison that's well regarded ON SALE. You assume because you know about it, the other 330 million people in America do also.

Deal is a subjective term, I go by voting feedback, the response to the thread tells me sharing it was helpful to the community, which I can't say the same for your comment had I listened to your advice.

Sorry but you are wrong. if you don't even know about a good opportunity to save money EVEN IF IT IS A REGULAR PRICE compared to what you are spending elsewhere on another brand or even that brand at Walmart, it is a DEAL because now you are paying LESS for Brand B than Brand A because you found out about Brand B at regular price on SD.

Had your logic been employed, many people would continue to overpay for Brand A.

The goal is to SAVE MONEY on Slickdeals, PERIOD. If you have an issue, take it up with the mods, cause I fully intend to keep posting perfectly good "DEALS" that people can save money on.
I don't understand how you're saving money when it's literally the every single day normal Walmart price. Anybody who shops at Walmart, which is probably half the world, is going to pay this price. I agree this is not a slick deal. At first this site used to be reserved for really really good deals, or what most would call a "slick" deal. Now they might as well change the name to "Good but still every day price deals." I think in general posters are getting carried away and posting literally anything and everything that's on sale. In my opinion, as soon as they made it where posters make money off sales, the overall quality of the entire site started going downhill.

Please try reading what I posted AGAIN. there are MANY people who DO NOT KNOW about this option and are paying more for Kingsford. If you know about this option, albeit at regular price, good for you, but saying the sharing of a well priced item (even if regular) that can save OTHERS money who are now paying more is somehow tabu. Remember, it's NOT ONLY ABOUT YOU on this website.
It's Walmart and in case you didn't know, Walmart is literally the single largest retailer on planet earth, and they are selling it at normal every day price. It's not like it's a hidden Gem that only slickdealers know about. If it's at Walmart, half the planet has access to it or at the very least will find out when they go to buy their next bag of charcoal.

It's easy to continually find new inexpensive stuff at Walmart even if you do shop there. Just look at all the posts we get from people posting $5-$15 dollar items that are 97 cents or so at Walmart...
