For the price I would honestly go for the Franklin 500lb for $250 (regular price - occasionally on coupon) for a bit more: https://www.harborfreight.com/500...70726.html

That or the 1000lb for another $120. The quality is good on either Franklin cart but Vevor can be super hit-or-miss in my experience.

I was looking at the lifting height, the franklins have a much lower lift, 28 and 34in vs the Vevors advertised 50!? That cant be right, can it?

Agreed. I own the Harbor freight 500lb and the Husky 500lb, both just about reach tailgate height. I use them all the time to move Pinball machines, slot machines, trench digger, stump grinder, you name it, love them. I have exceeded the 500lb limit with no issues. 330lbs is useless for me, most things I move are over 400lbs. I also converted the handles to lay flat for easy storage (and required in order to get under a pinball machine). I also paid $179 I believe for the HF one (coupon), and $115 for the Husky (mark down).

That's likely where the weight limit difference comes from. Higher height would be far less stable with equal weight. Also, they look like they are built for very different purposes (warehousing vs something more aimed towards people rebuilding engines or loading material into a truck). Not to mention the "X" style jacks on one vs the scissor style jacks on the other.

That's funny, I own the Vevor for the exact opposite reason. My tailgate is over 40 inches high, and a 28 inch lift was useless for me.

I got the Franklin cart for similar reasons to save my back and always wanted one, and ended up returning it. The cart itself is solid and lifts right up to the tailgate. What i realized though that if something is so heavy that i can barely move it the cart itself becomes the problem. For one the platform sits pretty high off the ground over 6in, so i'll need a small ramp just to move things onto the lift. Secondly it rolls great in the garage on the smooth surface, but it cant get over the lip between the driveway and the garage even though it's barely 1in. Not a problem when it's unloaded but with a heavy load it's another obstacle to tackle. Third it takes up allot of space in a 2 car garage for something that will be used only once maybe twice a year, so the issue became space and usability which was the primary reason i returned it. If i come across a project where it will be needed i'll go to HF and buy it, until that day though i rather have the garage space.

I have one similar to the Vevor, and I love it. It's probably made by the same factory this one is made.

The lifting height is why I bought it. I used it to install a heavy AC unit for a relative.

I've been wanting one of these for ages due to back issues. I have a 75 gallon reef tank at home and love the idea of being able to lift up 15-20 gallon containers of water to to a gravity fed refill of the sump when I do water changes. I used to hang out a local home-brew shop/winery and we used them a lot for liquid transfers in the winery as well.

I've wanted one of these for quite some time and have been looking for a deal. I don't think this is the one. The recent reviews are downright awful!
