Remind me, if you can attend any day, there's no reason not to apply for everything right? Not as if applying for fewer things increases odds for what you do apply for, or if winning one year affects odds in another year...?
Yes apply for them all for the best odds. We don't know the exact workings behind the scenes of course, but no reason to not apply for all unless you can't or don't want to attend certain days. I got Sunday tickets 2 years ago and hope to win again sometime in my lifetime.

There is no confirmation email. You get on screen confirmation after you submit your request/entry.

For what it's worth, I'm a local, and if your desire is just to see the course and get some merch -- not necessarily follow the tournament or specific golfers -- the final day of the Women's Amateur and especially the Drive, Chip and Putt championship both get you onto the course and GENERALLY give you better chances of 'winning' tickets. You'll only get half a day, though, for the Drive, Chip and Putt championship, as it's over just after noon. Only the last day of the Women's Amateur is at the Augusta National, with the other days of that tournament taking place at the Champions Retreat golf club.

Every hotel or other accommodation within an hour of the course goes up 3-4x the normal price that week. Renting out your house is a popular thing around here for that reason, but even a hole in the wall hotel like the Knight's Inn or Motel 6 will even be $300+ per night. Thankful to be a local for that reason.

That site is ridiculous. They claim it's illegal only in the state of Georgia to resell your Masters badges. That is verifiably false. Nothing illegal about it anywhere. Against POLICY of Augusta National? Yes. But not illegal in any way shape or form unless you're doing it within 2700 feet of the event, which is the basis of a ticket scalping law ANYWHERE in Georgia, not just the Masters. Further, there is no "unique color-coded strip" on the bottom of each badge that allows them to "secretly trace tickets back to the original purchaser, even if the ticket number is obscured" in reseller ads. There's a hologram that helps authenticate the ticket, but that's all it is.

All that being said, it would most definitely be more risky to resell badges today than it was a few years ago. This year and last year they started majorly cracking down on resold badges at the gate. ID's are being checked, stories are being gathered and verified on the lineage of the badges, and people are being turned away and badges confiscated if it doesn't check out. It has been all over the news here in town.

I've lived in the area for 31 years now and have been fortunate enough to attend 4 practice rounds, 2 tournament days, 1 Women's Amateur championship day, and the inaugural Drive, Chip & Putt Championship. Out of all of those, only two of the practice rounds were lottery selections, as well as the Women's Amateur and DCP championships. The rest were corporate access I got from my employer at the time or via friends who work for the club and graciously loaned their badges to me so I could take my dad. Haven't ever won tournament day badges in that 31 year span. There is lots of folklore in the area about ANGC favoring out of town residents in the lottery, but none of that has ever been proven.

There is a confirmation email. I added this years into the pile with my rejections.
