Pay a little more and just get a Vitamix. I've had a Vitamix for 14 years. Still runs as good as the day I bought it.

I was trying to get Vitamix from recent memorial day sale for refurbished unit but my order was cancelled after almost a week after submission. I think im giving up on Vitamix, its not a little more, its bollocks more, im sorry but im not able to justify $500 price tag for a blender. I got kitchenAid model (pure power, not one in this thread) for $100 and it blends everything i throw in it, it also comes with smaller personal cup, i dont have to pay additional $100+ for vitamix small cup. It is very well rated on rtings.com (https://www.rtings.com/blender/to...209/132818) and simply works for me. I may update you all in 14 years but so far so good.
