No need to wait until the last day and risk forgetting and getting charged. You can cancel right away after joining and just turns off auto-renew and leaves your current membership period unchanged.

Thank you! Been waiting for Walmart to send me a "Please come back at 50% off" offer, but no luck so far.
This offer was on my AMEX Blue card, so this is perfect!

Not sure how long ago that was but I think they've since changed the policy? At least that's what it says now.
This was last month, my first experience with Walmart + and I was surprised someone just showed up to my door the same day and just handed me a Walmart plastic bag with just the scissors itself, no shipping box, almost like I had a personal shopper.

I can still get the deal today. Order now and it'll be delivered to me in 5 hrs, by 6am, so it doesn't look like they changed anything. I'm not sure if that's location specific, but where I am, same day free shipping regardless of amount is real for Walmart +. The only red flag I've encountered, I mentioned already. They seem to treat grocery/food items separately. It requires a $35 minimum before they'll deliver it for free. I tried it with chicken broth when I ran out and needed some before my June Amazon delivery would resupply me.

Many items at Walmart can be shipped same-day for free, regardless of price. The "shipping" is really delivery by someone in a car, not a shipping company. It's almost like delivery, except no order minimum, no tip, but usually many food items don't count. I always look for "shipping" box and it will usually be same-day.

I'm worried if this worked for me. I added the offer to my card, and signed up for W+ using that card for payment. USUALLY, I will get an email from AMEX saying I used some offer when the charge goes through, but so far, I have not received any notice from AMEX that I used the offer (W+ charges sales tax so it came to $105 or so).

The T&C of the Amex offer does say to sign up via a specific link on the Walmart site. But in my experience with other Amex offers this isn't required.

Is Walmart+ worth having? What are your favorite perks?
These days the delivery timelines are more reliable than Amazon for me. Walmart of course has a smaller selection.
For $50 worth having regardless if you use the streaming benefit.

Do you REALLY need Walmart+ membership because their shipping speed is pretty fast! They usually get it to my door within 2 days..sometimes even less. Of course you need to spend at least 35 dollars to qualify for free shipping. Unlike Amazon which takes around 1 week or MORE if you don't have Prime. Amazon really tries to force you into buying a Prime membership. Nowadays, I would go with Walmart over Amazon if the prices for what I want to buy are similar.

I took advantage of this last fall and have been exceptionally happy with it. I use it for the grocery delivery all the time. I was impressed - the one time I had a missing item, they credited the amount back to me instantly. It cost a little to tip the driver, but I figure I save way more than that by avoiding any impulse buys, plus I get Wal-mart prices without actually going into Wal-mart!

I was excited to get Peacock with this for the World Cup, but they only own the Spanish broadcast through Telemundo. Even though I'd love to avoid some of the US commentators, the gameplay in English is better. Ugh. Over the air broadcast then.

Grocery items are considered delivery, hence the $35 minimum charge. With Walmart+, there is no minimum for shipped items as long as the item is sold or fulfilled by Walmart. Items are supposed to be shipped from Walmart warehouses and delivered by FedEx or UPS. But in most cases, if the same item is available in a nearby store, it will be delivered by a private carrier in a Walmart shopper bag, which is pretty much what you said, as if you have a personal shopper.

Is this pretty much the best deal for W+ you can get?
