No need to wait until the last day and risk forgetting and getting charged. You can cancel right away after joining and just turns off auto-renew and leaves your current membership period unchanged.

Thank you! Been waiting for Walmart to send me a "Please come back at 50% off" offer, but no luck so far.
This offer was on my AMEX Blue card, so this is perfect!

Now just need a deal to make this better!
Onepay was offering free Walmart plus membership for a year with an approved credit card last month. Not sure if it's extended to this month.

Do they still ask for the "optional" tip for delivery?
No.

I ordered something recently on Walmart.com which was delivered by a gig worker.
There is no way to know at the time you place the order.

The tracking on my particular item showed that it was shipped from a Walmart warehouse to a Walmart hub similar to Amazon. Then it was delivered by a gig worker.

There is no place to add a tip.

are you confusing same-day shipping with "delivery"? I believe the "delivery" option does suggest tipping. Same-day shipping (delivered by gig workers) do not.

Same day delivery, Paramount+ or Peacock, free shipping.
Paramount is the best streaming service value today IMO. So much content, including the past 50+ years of Paramount legacy movies.

After watching how these "pickers" for these home delivery orders work inside the store, it's a hard pass for me using this service. It's all about speed and filling the bag the quickest. No expiration date comparisons or picking out the best piece of meat or fresh produce. Whatever is closest to the bag is yours.
I agree. If they're moving that fast and carelessly when selecting produce, they may not wash their hands after using the toilet either.

No, they changed the deal since last year. A year or 2 before that they offered $98 back; so I ended up paying around $9 for tax.

You got that right. There's a lot of people who don't wash their hands afterwards, we use to talk about it when I worked there.

The T&C of the Amex offer does say to sign up via a specific link on the Walmart site. But in my experience with other Amex offers this isn't required.
I checked my Amex account. JUN 1 the $105 charge was made. JUN 3 there is a $49 statement credit. No waiting 30 days, etc., to get the credit. So I'm good.

Why would they do either of those things? Why would a store have a product on the shelf and tell their employees to avoid selling that item due to the cut or sell the one with the further expiration date so the store doesn't make the profit..?

My driver delivered my package thrown right on my porch. I was home and heard a loud bang and knew someone was at my door. Checked my cameras and saw the delivery man threw my package while standing afar. The stuff inside was fragile glass.

I bought some eggs from Amazon lately and saw the driver slid my grocery bag right on my yard. Opened my package and eggs broken all over the brown bag so I tossed it out bc I don't want slimy stuff on my new floor. Contact Amazon and 1st person directed me to someone else bc they said they don't know how to help. Next person supervisor insisted to provide multiple pictures of the broken packages. I only took ONE pic of the broken eggs of 1 carton. Submitted to the supervisor and she gave me an attitude saying "send eligible pictures" and I said it was sent and it redirected me out of convo. She kept saying eligible picture as in multiple pictures of broken eggs. Like WTF I only took 1 pic and it clearly showed the whole carton cracked inside the brown bag. I didn't know I'm supposed to snap thousands of pics to be considered eligible pic. Some people just act like they own the company and treat customers like we work for them. I ended up taking the loss and it's whatever. Only $30 bucks anyway but I was just trying to get them to reimburse 1 carton but 1 pic isnt enough 😂 I feel sorry for those who forgets to take pics bc not everyone likes to take pics of everything they see lol

They deliver expired stuff all the time. Once you shop often you'll be tired of complaining bc you still need delivery service bc of busy schedule so they know you need them. Thus they don't gaf if you received rotten, broken, or expired products
