Is there a version like this with a lower refresh rate?

How is this one different than the 271QPX E2 from the deal back in November? This is actually cheaper than the deal from back then.

I don't remember specifically off the top of my head but there's a whole sub-model series of these that are functionally 99% the same monitor but then have slightly different brightness ratings or other little tweaks. There's one or two models that are just a bit better than the rest but I don't recall which those were. I was looking at this model like a month and a half ago but went another direction so don't quote me on but I believe this is one of the lower brightness ones. Still, if you're not playing in direct sun that's getting real tempting. Going to try and hold out for newer gen panel though (less damage prone and fringing/purple cast).

271qpx has a 360Hz refresh rate but IMO that is overblown and almost no one will actually notice it (nor have the hardware to run something so fast as to take advantage of it), the bigger issue is this is less bright, and kind of like bottom tier level of brightness for this class of QD-OLEDs if memory serves. Ultimately this is what turned me off at any price.

Either way, this is a Costco variant of the monitor, which lets them sell it cheaper than other places otherwise different retailers get their panties in a twist with MAP policies not applying evenly, while they may not sell the 271qpx any more, I would pay more for that one

this competes with the aoc OLED so it's hdrblack400 which if you are boarded with HDR then don't get this

otherwise still has good response times and contrast

only good in dark night time use case

this probably has better longevity with its not obtrusive oled care rather than Aoc forcing a pixel refresh every 4 hours

its more annoying than you know

its identical just a new model number for costco to sell specifically so other stores dont have problems selling it at a different price.

i bought that one (at $375) and returned it. it had insanely loud coil whine (while turned off) that never went away. msi refused to service it. otherwise it was fine.
