I already have a million batteries from the last six deals like this, Ryobi, just need more tool-only deals (that aren't local YMMV clearance).

This deal is hackable afaik. It's a buy battery, get a free tool. Get both, return the battery. Makes to tool ~$100

I bought this to redo all the base boards in my house after redoing the flooring. It was a pleasure to use. I used it with the smaller battery to reduce weight.

Weren't there mention in other SD posts that Home Depot has been closing accounts for those who are doing the hack? Otherwise would love to hack it as well.

I mean if they do, I'll just open a new one so don't think I care. It's not like o have any allegiance to my Home Depot login ya know? And their loss if they don't want my money and it's not like they are going to ban you from buying in store so it's whatever.

I've been on the fence on this one for a while. I try to keep my ecosystem to Dewalt since that's most of what I have, but the prices on their nailers and other tools are absolutely insane, almost 2x Ryobi, that it makes me consider buying into Ryobi ecosystem.
Anyone that can speak to their experience between the two that do have both? I have been looking for a nailer for a while, and this might be a good way in at this price. I mean for $199, that's cheaper than 1 Dewalt bare tool nailer and you literally get several batteries and a nailer with Ryobi lol.

Oh I mean they track you not at account level but they have info on you like your drivers license or they can trace your profile via credit card (assuming that's how you paid for it). So it's a full outright ban from the stores so people have been discussing paying cash only at the store so they can't be traced if doing the hack.
