Sofirn's SE1 is a compact wearable flashlight that stands out for its unusual mix of white light, UV, RGB ring light, and hands free mounting options. The magnet, clip, lanyard, wrist strap, and keyring make it easy to use on a hat, backpack, watchband, car hood, or around the neck, and the RGB ring can double as a bedside night light. It has four brightness levels with a 300 lumen top mode, but the UV output is weak and lacks a filter. The body is not water resistant, the USB C port is exposed, and the magnets and clip feel less secure than the concept suggests. It looks like a clever pocket tool if you want versatility more than ruggedness.
Common Questions (5)
It is not water resistant, and the USB-C charge port is fully exposed with no port cover. That makes it more vulnerable to dirt or sand getting into the charging port.
Yes, stacked coupons can bring it down to about $13.88, and it may go under $12 with available coupons. One checkout limitation is that only one coupon code may be entered per cart, so the discount may need to come from selectable coupons rather than multiple code entries.
It has four brightness levels, with the top mode rated at 300 lumens in video reviews. The lowest level is still useful for seeing uneven sidewalks at night, while the RGB ring can light in four directions for nearby area lighting.
The UV light is reported to be very weak and may be close to useless because there is no filter on it. The white light and RGB ring are the more practical parts of the light.
It includes a magnet, clip, chain lanyard, wrist strap, keyring, and USB-C cord. Those accessories make it easy to use hands-free on a car hood, fridge, hat, backpack, wrist, or keychain, and the RGB ring can also work as a bedside night light.

The bottom isn't rubberized and the magnets aren't super strong so I expect this to get scratched after regular use and possibly slide down things that aren't super magnetic. You have to make sure it's fully in the magnetic clip holder as I've had it snap in there at an angle and fall off. There's no USB-C port cover so you may want to order a bunch separately so you don't get dirt or sand in there. I own dozens and dozens of lights and was actually developing something like this for kickstarter but Sofirn beat me to the punch. It's a really good first attempt at something with this form factor and their warranty reps are usually helpful if you run into any issues.
