$5 pizza is why Little Cesar's even survived. Now it's a great deal?

$6 should be everyday price for Little Cesars.
Still is in a lot of places. It's $6 at any location I check around me, in the Chicago suburbs. The "ExtraMostBestest" version, with extra cheese and extra pepperoni (or sausage) is $7.

I mean, it was $5 for 20 years. Now it's $6 in most places. I wouldn't call an average price increase of less than 1% a year bad.
It's a 16.6% discount from the current standard price in many places. It's up to you if you think a 16.6% discount is a "great deal" or not.

This pizza is normally at least $10 where I live. Highway robbery for the garbage that it is. Or was, apparently. Friend tells me they changed things up recently.

Up until about 5 years ago we'd very occasionally get Little Caesar's, it was edible, Nothing special. Then that location closed. A new one opened right near me house but within a year closed and then like 6 months later reopened. It actually seems like some sort of front/money laundering operation. It has the LOWEST rating I've ever seen for a restaurant on Google anywhere near me, always hovering in the 2's. Complaints are often that they are randomly closed, shady characters hanging around constantly, they act annoyed when you actually order something from them and the food is barely edible if they get your order right.

Wow, you're not kidding. Heck, I just looked up a random location in Washington state on the app and saw $10. Now that just doesn't feel like it's worth it.

Exactly. And it's $5, so what are the alternatives you can get for $5 if you are wanting or needing to order out for food? If there are better alternatives, then this $5 pizza isn't a good deal, and vice versa. We have a pizza every Friday, just as an end of the week exhale, the Safeway brand frozen pizza is pretty good to us, and it's $4-$5 so for us this LC deal isn't they great, but that's because we have alternatives, other may not.
