Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 is a compact Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 gaming tablet that stands out for strong performance, a good LCD screen, vapor chamber cooling, and a small form factor that works well for emulation and game streaming. The two USB C ports and gaming profiles make controller setups and fast charging more flexible, and the tablet can be turned into a handheld with accessories like the G9 or Razer Kishi. The main drawbacks are the missing microSD slot, removed headphone jack, and limited Lenovo software update support. It is a solid small tablet if you can live with the storage and software tradeoffs.

I wish Lenovo was better about their Android updates. This is only going to get OS updates up to Android 17 and security updates until end of 2028. But I guess that's how they keep costs down.
I have one of their budget tablets and it was still a little buggy and laggy after their latest OS update, but they're never going to fix any of those since they aren't doing updates for it anymore. As a tablet for just media consumption it's worth it. Just wouldn't multitasking on it.

The 11" Yoga Tab is $439.99 from Lenovo, where are you seeing it for $390? Is there a code that bring it to that price?
These are kind of different devices. If you are looking for a multi-purpose, higher performance productivity tablet the Yoga Tag is fine. However, the Legion Tab is gaming focused. That brings several important features:

1. It has two USB ports. That is important to be able to attach a gaming controller
2. It has gaming performance management features. This allows you to easily choose a performance profile and track temperatures and other performance metrics
3. It has a vapor chamber which improves thermal performance

Supposedly, this will get Android 17 and Security updates through November 2028.

I got this and a g9 specifically to stream games from my pc to the tablet using moonlight and apollo and it's been excellent for this purpose.

This isn't the best price. I got mine for $333 not including tax, but at this price, it's still good in my opinion.

Wish it had a microSD port for ROMs. Otherwise seems great for emulation.
Yeah, that's a real head scratcher indeed. Takes it out of any running for me at least.

As long as one is aware that this is a couple of years old before spending the money, not a bad price and decent performance

I've been eyeing handheld options that run Windows game but trying to stay with Lenovo AND under or at $300+- has been no luck..didn't even know this device exists so now I'm wondering #1 best Android games to play on this #2 best handheld controller to use and #3 how easy is it to side load an emulator and other gaming to this and #3.5 is there any way to side load or "double OS" something like this and add windows OS? Thanks in advance for your help to my ignittt questions, friendsSmilie

For folks asking about microSD storage - there are very small USB hubs and microSD readers and this has two USB C ports.
It's not as nice as having it built in, but if you're already carrying around a game controller and other attachments, it's not that bad.
I got one a few months ago at $300 after taxes (I had some Lenovo rewards), and at that price I don't think there's a better option for a smaller gaming focused tablet. 2.5x for the Gen 5 is a tough sell. At closer to $400 it's a little less attractive, but still the best option unless you're willing to spend quite a bit more or interested in flashing roms on international versions.

Tldr, great as a compact gaming tablet. Annoying lack of biometric scanners

I got the gen2 a while back, and the performance is solid and the screen is good for lcd. I ended up selling it because I didn't really need the higher end performance and the lack of biometrics. It just made it really annoying to use for day to day tasks like using a password manager or logging into banking apps.

Someone on YT was reviewing some of the ONN brand tablets from walmart. For the price (around $100), he said they were really good, especially if you plan to mainly stream using moonlight.

Jumped in it. I don't play the new games but love me some retro. Using a g cloud for emulation but then I have to drag a 11" pro tab pro gen 2 for work. This will allow me to consolidate down to 1 device with some extra future proof

Did this play steam game via games hub well?
For most of the games I play I am getting 60fps.
