This is a solid midrange gaming prebuilt centered on a Ryzen 5 7500X3D and RX 9070 XT, with enough power for 1440p and even some 4K at lower settings. The bundle is helped by the included 1TB SSD, Windows 11, and name brand core parts, and the member price lands around $1300 after Micro Center sign up. The main knocks are the single 16GB RAM stick, a cramped case with limited expansion, and a motherboard and PSU that feel more budget than premium. It is a practical way to get this spec without the hassle of a full DIY build.
Common Questions (5)
It's a fair-to-good price for a mid-tier gaming PC, especially if you want a ready-built system with a Ryzen 5 7500X3D and RX 9070 XT. The main caveat is that you can sometimes DIY close to the cost if you catch sales, but the prebuilt saves time and hassle and still lands below the estimated parts total.
The motherboard is described as weak, and the case is cramped with no exhaust fan, which limits expansion because the large GPU takes up space. The lack of USB4 is another downside, especially if you want better VR support.
It comes with 16GB DDR5, and the single-stick setup is not a dealbreaker for the 7500X3D/X3D platform. You may lose a couple frames versus dual-channel, but the bigger practical upgrade is adding more capacity later if you want 32GB.
Yes, the RX 9070 XT is a high-end AMD GPU that handles current games well and is described as playing everything thrown at it without issues. It's also strong enough that the next meaningful gaming jump would be a much more expensive 9800X3D plus 5080 build.
The unboxed unit was reported to include an ASRock PRO Series 80+ Gold 850W PSU, which was rated around B+ from the observed unit. That makes the power supply look better than the usual budget-prebuilt assumption.

Add in one of those cheap power spec cases (which I believe is made by Lian li; I was eying it when I built mine a couple months ago), a basic cooler, budget PSU, and some cheap fans and there you go.
The good news is the a single ram stick isn't a deal breaker for X3D, so you might lose a couple frames but overall it'll be a good performer. When I built mine I ended up selling my included ram and using a DDR5 5600 32GB I got when bestbuy oopsied it for $15. It's slightly slower ram but again, the difference isn't significant with X3D and I'd rather have capacity.
Is it possible to BARELY squeeze under that finding deals and getting lucky? Yes.
Is it worth the hassle to save... at most... $100? And have to spend the time putting it all together on your own??
This IS a deal. Is it a crazy cheap deal? No, of course not. But looking at normal retail prices you're saving a few hundo, time, and hassle.
But saying it's not a deal just isn't true in today's market and the foreseeable market. You're not realistically building this spec brand new on your own and if you are, congrats saving $100 at best for many hours of your time.
The only mildly tricky part is the NVME. For that, I'd just recommend using what you already have, though I'm sure a lot of folks don't just have a spare NVME laying around. Still, matching that $1300 is completely reasonable, PLUS you can pick a better case and probably a better PSU. MSI MAG goes on sale all the time.
But like... if you want to buy the prebuilt, buy it. It's fine. They're definitely not price gouging (well, beyond the norm). Let's not pretend this is a steal of a deal though. It's a good price considering the times we live in.
