Why did someone down vote this? Since the price spiked in them in January, this is the best deal I've seen for them.

I didn't downvote the post, but I can understand their rational.
I wouldn't settle for a DRAM-Less QLC drive even in a time like this. The 4TB SN850X is currently at $599. If you can wait, it should go on sale soon on Amazon's Prime Day.

Considering the way prices are if I did not have a 2tb on my ps5 already I'd be jumping on this! I see 399$ online , is there a coupon or similar that makes this cheaper instore?

Wait a second. Not a single person has mentioned they bought this drive for $250 or $150 or whatever a few years ago.

I feel like together, the computer part hunters of Slickdeals ... we've finally reached the final stage of grief. Acceptance.

I bought a nvme that's a little better than this for $275 a little more than 3 years ago. This is outrageous!

But seriously, it was the 4tb SN850X and it crapped out on me in 3 years so I'm already not a big fan of WD's nvme

There are some users that ONLY downvote... some with tens of thousands of downvotes.

They're hoping if they td then less people will buy it and less gets sold then maybe it will result in them lowering the price.

LOl we're screwed either way
