This deal isn't what it seems. Someone said it doesn't unlock the base game and they are still being prompted to buy so wasting money basically.

please let me know if it's playable - you might have to request a refund. Another comment says the game once you launch it asks you to pay the difference but I didn't buy it myself :/

This is a great deal. I've been wanting to try the game since people who have actually played seem to love it but I'm hesitant about it being an extraction shooter. Destiny 2 is one of my most played games so I'm in for $14.

That's what I assumed. Xbox does this with GamePass games, you can upgrade to the deluxe version, but if you don't actually buy the base game or keep your GamePass going you can't play it. People are gonna be upset in a week, but who knows, maybe they'll let them keep it if they want them to keep playing.

Edit: reddit comments since being posted are saying it requires paying the difference once you launch the deluxe edition :/ Sorry ya'll. If you go to your library (I believe here? https://store.playstation.com/pag...on-history ) you should be able to request a refund for the game.
