i got this refurb on ebay for around the same price. Highly recommend. Unit looked new to me when I opened the package. Can drive the monitor with one single USB-C cable that serves power and display connection. Also an HDMI to HDMI mini connection for those laptops that don't have USB-C (will need to power the monitor with USB C though).

Been thinking of getting this and connecting it to a FireStick (via the mini adapter). I understand this monitor has some small speakers?

I can't speak to this exact model, but can say that based on the 3 different portable monitors I have (all different brands), they all have built in speakers.

Yea they have some speakers, but won't blow your socks off. Probably worse than some cheap laptop with built-in speakers.
