Have you ever been frustrated by power going the wrong way over USB-C? For example, you want to power your laptop from a power bank, but instead the laptop battery starts charging the power bank? This is your solution. It's a one-way USB-C charging cable.
That's my main use case for having a couple of these. The splitting functionality is just a secondary minor convenience for occasions when I have lots of devices to charge.

I guess I very rarely had to use anything other than a brick to charge so I haven't had this issue. Good point, though.
I was hoping to use this for dual 65W monitors, but

Not sure what you mean. Why would the number of ports matter?
Connect a USB cable between a power bank and a laptop. Which one will charge and which one will send power? Who knows. Sometimes it's the wrong way. Sometimes I'm sitting there with a laptop at 10% and a USB battery at 99% and the silly laptop sends power to the USB battery. Sigh.
This cable is one-way so you can control which side sends power and which side receives power.

Better look for a 240w version then, maybe it will exceed that 2nd device limit.
