Was wondering if this was dual channel and it is. Too bad 32GB isn't affordable.

As in 2x8GB SODIMM? The good news is the resale market is very swift for RAM right now. You can sell the RAM after buying a 2x16GB kit off eBay.

Or do you mean it supports dual channel? You will indeed want to run this thing in dual channel. If it only comes with a single 16GB SODIMM, you can get another off eBay for ~$125.

Yes I was checking for dual channel since it is an APU. I was also thinking it would be a good idea to sell the ram since I already have a 32GB kit I installed in another mini pc I had to return.

As far as I can see, this is a typical mini with 2x SODIMM slots, so you should be okay with reusing your kit. This is a fairly decent deal for an 8-core Zen 4 / RDNA 3 PC. The prices on these continue to drift up and over $500.

I picked up a used Beelink SER7 with a 7840HS and 32GB RAM off eBay for $450 a month ago, and I'm quite happy with the performance. It's my new PS3 emulation box, and has done a good job playing quite a few AAA PC games at lower settings too. 780M is still a very relevant processor when you give it 8GB from a 32GB PC, leaving you with 24GB, which is plenty for current games on low.

If this was a beelink I would seriously think about jumping on the deal. I've been wanting a mini-pc with the 780m. I tried an ace magic with the 680m but it locked up every time I plugged something into a usb port. I currently have a NUC with the weaker i5-1135G7.

PS3 emulation would be cool. Would you happen to know if they sell refurb or scratch and dent beelink mini-pcs anywhere?

Being 16GB is already kind of bad, but for this chip, I'd want the max of 6400 MT/s per module so that the iGPU isn't as bottlenecked. This uses 5600 MT/s modules. For a 680m, it not as important to have that max.

Just a note on these. The listing says it ships with a PCIE 4.0 drive, but they are actually shipping with 3.0 drives. Can confirm that this is what I received, and customer service acknowledged it. They just said that the SLOT is PCIE 4 even if the drive isn't. Still a good deal IMO
