These are server CPUs intended to be utilized with massive amounts of ram and/or lots of PCIE devices. Standard desktop CPUs support dual channel memory with 2-4 slots. These support 12 channel with many motherboards supporting two CPUs and have 24 ram slots (12 per CPU). Also, every chip in this series supports a whopping 128 PCIE5 lanes. Most people would have absolutely no use for this.
