Actually, you can get one with 5 tips for $2 less! This deal was last posted in Aug 2025 but it's on sale again for only $3.99. I can't imagine a soldering kit for less, especially one with 5 tips. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098JD8HD3?

If you're willing to spend $4 more, this seems like the better deal. It's 80W, comes with 5 different tips, a desoldering pump, a protective cover, and tweezers. The only thing I don't like is that it has an LCD display instead of LED because LEDs are more legible.

Size isn't everything. Lower wattage for delicate electronics. I have soldered lots of IC chips on boards with low wattage irons. High wattage increases the chances of damaging delicate components.
