I am trying to wrap my head around how that would even work, 50% off saves you $1. So that would mean a type of pizza could be like $2 in your area. Reminds me of the $3 personal pan at Pizza Hut. So then Papa John's is like, "No! We have added our Personal Pan and we are selling it for $2 and you can use this deal on it."

Stuffed crust for $11.50 not bad, it is one of the best I think. Have $2 rewards expire tomorrow so perfect timing and the free cheese sticks with survey, a lot of eating for $9.50 for me and my 3 dogs

I did this for only purchase transactions. I think this also works for fully paid by papa dough transactions as well.

I think he means like PJ usually runs specials like a large 1-item for $9.99

When you build it yourself, for this special, "full menu price" ends up being $18.99......so "half off" it comes to $8.99

Hence, his quote of "this ends up being $1 off".

That would be another way. I never look at the specials because I stay true to my 50%+ off. If the deal is not that, I never look into it.
Could be why I thought some pizza, somewhere, could have had a mini size selling for $2 (yeah, that seems way too unrealistic).

This works!!

On the App, I had to create an order then at the end of the order in the shopping cart put in the code and it prompts for you to select a pizza
Then just remove the thing you originally ordered.

I entered the code 4 times and got 4 large specialty pizzas for the team for 40$ (10$ each normally 20)

The person saying it saved them 1$ i think did it wrong.

Promo code "Cheeseday26" not working for me? not sure why.
i did create your own pizza. total came up to $20.73 for a medium 2 topping. I put the promo code. It didn't discount the pizza to 50% off like it's suppose to instantly. Instead, it took me to the main "select your pizza" page with banner saying "Celebrate National Cheese Day Member Exclusive: 50% off All Regular Menu Priced Pizzas.". It should not do this? it doesn't need to take me to this page. cause i ALREADY have a pizza in cart, ready to check out. The promo code didn't work. Yes its a regular price menu item but the discount code didn't work. Odd.

you have to enter the code at the top of the homepage and then select the pizza after it is accepted. poor design but that should help.

Haha, as a fellow Slickdealer who goes to extreme lengths to save a few bucks, it was quite a shock to work for years at PapaJs and realize a good 50% of the American population will pay full price for pizza instead of just asking for the "special" that was very close to what they ordered.

There are just some people who don't care about prices or money. We will never understand them.

I am kind of one of those people. I think all combos and specials on the restaurant's menus are scams. For instance, if you ever get a drink, burger, and side; they are making tons of profit on that. If a pizza place has "deals," more than likely, it is like 20-30% off the regular price. At that discount, I might as well just go with BOGOs or 50% off or skip a meal. So most of the buying, I do not make on impulse of menus; it is through analysis on coupons or deal sites like this.
