Abes of Maine is not an authorized Sony dealer and a questionable business. The Sony products they sell in the US are imported via unofficial channels and Sony will not honor any warranty claims. I am not sure if this is the case these days, years ago there were a few business establishments like this who advertise a lower price and then call the people who ordered the items and demand more money. One time I ordered a canon lens from one of these businesses and I got a call saying I need to pay more if I needed a lens with metal mount. Canon have never made the same lens with plastic mount and metal mount. So that was just a bait and switch tactic. I will stay away from businesses like this.

You can still buy it just be aware that if you will ever need it to be repaired via official Sony channel - you are out of luck. About bait and switch - I don't know what to say, I personally would not deal with the store, I'd rather buy used from BandHphoto, Adorama or keh
