I purchased a set of WORKPRO flex-head ratcheting wrenches from this seller less than a year ago. They are refusing to replace my faulty 3/8" wrench of this same style, just in the polished chrome finish. The ratcheting mechanism does not ratchet.
Their response was:
"The shipping cost to the USA is very high, so we are not able to send the 3/8 wrench, sorry for the inconvenience."
I originally offered them a chance to resolve it with a partial refund instead, but they would not refund enough to buy a comparable replacement wrench locally.
The frustrating part is that when I contacted WORKPRO support, they forwarded me to a @greatstartools.com email address. From what I understand, GreatStar is WORKPRO's parent company and was also the seller in my case. Nothing in WORKPRO's warranty says international shipping cost is a restriction on replacement.
It has been over 10 days of a single email response from them per day, basically repeating themselves in each one and not honoring what is on their site.
To be fair, the metric sizes I have used a lot have had no issues.
As with anything, YMMV, but based on this experience, I personally have to assume anything I buy with WORKPRO written on it will not actually be warrantied.
Also, the Amazon ASIN is B06ZY3DG6P . The above link is broken.

Being serious... This is a warranty replacement - they have to ship them to the buyer in the first place, at the sale price. Clearly there exists means to get them to buyers in the US and profit from the sale. The excuse that shipping prohibits warranty coverage is nonsense.
However I'll poke two holes: 1) workpro can charge shipping for the replacement which is fairly common 2) the ask to refund an amount to buy a single-unit replacement is unreasonable and nothing in the warranty implies that right. One could expect 1/8th of the set price refunded if 1 of 8 wrenches fails.
Also for 19 bucks what magic are we expecting? Just sayin, unless they're total trash that breaks on first use it's $2.38 a wrench. I'm in for a set and a backup.
