This solar panel has USB and USB-c (60W) DC output built in. You can charge your phone (I have) and if your laptop is compatible charge that as well with this panel alone.

This won't power devices directly and you'll need at minimum a voltage regulator. This isn't a solar (MTTP) charge controller or an inverter. You'll want something like a power station to charge and pull power from

Believe me, as is SD in general, it's a deep rabbit hole that you may not want to jump into. I went from buying a cheap 150w power station for charging phones to a full house battery backup with an array of solar panels in only the last 2 months

These have a usb port in the pouch that holds the cables that is attached to the solar panel so yes you can power your phone with it.

I have two of these and would definitely recommend them. Performance has been excellent. The only drawback is the kickstands—they're functional, but the flexible design can make setup a little tedious, especially when trying to get all four supports stable on uneven ground.

That's good, but that's still only 480 watts for 3 panels which is less than what I just calculated for. He'll need a minimum of 500 watts continuous for a solid 4 to 4 1/2 hrs to be able to charge his 2kWh battery from 0 to full in 1 day.
