It's not very powerful, but it should be l for ok fine soldering. There are also many C210 aftermarket tips that can be used with it, which makes it much more useful than many other soldering irons. But I personally wouldn't buy a low-powered battery soldering iron one because tasks like SMD soldering of small parts are usually done at a desk where you have a power source, and more remote applications, like soldering wires in a car where the battery powered aspect would help, require more power.

Yes, this is what I was referring to as well. I suspected it would be under-powered for most applications.

Last time I checked on Amazon they were $40 which was when I bought mine. Rather have bought it at that time before any unexpected price increases occurred.
