Need more sun shirts as I work outside all day everyday but I generally avoid dark colors like this.

Sure you could use them, and probably won't get too many complaints, but they're going to be too loose and not have the same moisture wicking capabilities of a traditional rash guard. I know some people don't like wearing form fitting rash guards to grapple in, but there's a safety component. Nobody wants to get toes of fingers caught in loose fitting clothing while grappling. Maybe if you size down they could be serviceable but there's better options out there.

I've never worn these but I find the fact they don't list a UPF rating concerning if they're being advertised as a sun shirt.

Also for anyone considering these for long stretches outdoors or for fishing on open water - your neck will get fried. I've learned the hard way that these are so much more functional with a hood.
