I bought one last year for my sister. It looks brand new. Has the tape on it as well as if was new. She's still happy with it thus far.

Does anyone have experience with Midea restored/recertified A/Cs? What condition are they in?

The one I got works well. I've heard you can be missing accessories when buying these. For example, mine was missing the remote and a couple random accessories.

If you look through past deals of this one he the results vary a lot. Some people get practically new ones and others for ones with issues or missing parts.

If you're like me and need the vertical window kit/adapter, mine was missing it - apparently they don't make them anymore even when trying to buy direct from Midea's replacement parts site.

However, if you don't mind a color mismatch, you can buy the black version of the same parts from Danby, who sell the same unit under their name, similar to how Toshiba does as well.

I bought one last time the deal was posted and it was missing the vertical window attachment. I reached out to both Walmart and Midea and neither were able to get me the missing accessories so I had to return it in store. The return itself was painless but the unit and box are huge and heavy, so not the easiest thing to transport. Worth keeping in mind if you want to gamble on one of these.

I snagged this exact one, as the Toshiba one from woot! got cancelled. That was a blessing in disguise as this is a much nicer model. Mine had mostly everything it needed and looked brand new. It was missing some of the sliding window parts, but I didn't need that. The remote doesn't seem to be the right one, as some of the features don't work and it's not the one picture in the manual or on the web page. I'm contacting them about that.
Had it since Friday and it's ran all weekend no issues.

Same, mine was missing the sliding window adapter they called it. Otherwise everything was there for me. Was your remote a small tiny one vs. the one they show in the picture/manual?

Beware the other times this one came up on slickdeals, someone posted how it sounds, and it was the worst thing I ever heard. Like a constantly nails on chalkboard.

Mine came with the small remote too, which appears to be for a lower model. Midea told me they can't send my missing items and to return it to the store.
