you'll probably perforate your eardrum with this when all you need is some diluted hydrogen peroxide and a bulb syringe

I ordered a similar one a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty good to see yourself inside your own ear. You may not like what you see. :-/

Hesitant that it'll perform based on the price, but I'll give it a shot. In for one.

But you saved all that money removing your own earwax....the ER trip (and permanent hearing loss) basically pay for themselves!

Talk about a class as half empty type mindset Wink

I've had needle injections into my ear drum. Are they supposed to be easy to damage or something? I mean outside of VERY loud noise.

general rule of thumb is don't put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear

There's a camera on the end, you can see your eardrum. You'd need an IQ under 85 to actually do any damage.

I bought one a few years back after a trip that I got bad swimmers ear and a huge block of dried wax formed. Watched some videos, cleaned the tool, extracted the huge dried wax ball. Now I use it every few months just to check, occasionally clean a little. It's a great tool. I have high dexterity, great with tools, and very precise .. so I feel confident.

Don't go deep! Once you get familiar with it you can see your ear drum .. you don't want to touch that!!

My need to pick at things is a good sign I shouldn't buy this.

I got another brand at this same price. It seems to overheat and disconnect after some time on.

Not too a heat level to hurt your skin but enough for it to shutdown

Sounds like it's worth the price just to see your own eardrum to me!

I'd argue that a person who thought they needed to clean their ear but decided to cheap out with a $6 camera kit to do it...already has some significant mental challenges. One tiny error (for example from the display lag from a wireless and cheapo camera or the lack of depth perception that such a device cannot convey....) is likely to cost a lot more $ and potentially suffering and / or hearing loss. The risk reward relationship is just too far off...IMO.

But hey, you do you Wink
