Although this cable sites compatibility with thunderbolt "3,4,5," it's my understanding that true or real certified thunderbolt cables depending on whether it's 3,4,5, will have the appropriate number visible on the end of the cable and or a lightning symbol, I do not see either on the end of this cable so its authenticity is in question as far as whether or not it is a true thunderbolt cable, even though it may be compatible with devices that have thunderbolt compatible input ports, at least for me. It may not a bad choice for the money just do your own research to ensure that you are paying for and getting the exact cable that you expect this to be, Cable Matters is a respected company.

This cable is certified by the USB-IF, and that makes it completely Thunderbolt compatible. If it were Thunderbolt certified you'd see the Thunderbolt logo and a number. Thunderbolt 4 is just USB4 with a special certification, and Thunderbolt certification includes the USB-IF test plan. Most USB cables on the market are not USB-IF certified.

Ignore paid dissenters that are only here to sow seeds of doubt, this will work and is certified.
I've used their cables before are they are high quality, although I do believe it's important to look at specifications in critical applications.

USB-IF certified USB4 cables and Intel certified Thunderbolt 4/5 cables are functionally identical. Non-certified cables introduce the possibility of non-compliance in the form of things like signal loss below acceptable levels, excessive voltage drop, and improper emarker configuration.
