I loved the first one. I remember playing the 2nd one and it was hard. My guys either ran away or died. I played it when I had Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One. I found out the cheapest was $2.99 on Steam 2 years ago.

Oh, so you had to pay actually money to play this specific game? No? So yes it is "free" by your line in the sand. No money nor transaction took place....even if you paid for the Xbox game service...just like you "paid" for calories eating a cheeseburger earlier the same day.
