I got this in the mail today and tested And the cigarette lighter the maximum it will do is around 60 watts I went ahead and cut the wires and hooked it directly to the battery and guess what The maximum it'll do is 60 watts All they did was inflate the amount of wattage that this will handle to sell more units it's pretty much false advertising but there's no penalty for doing that anymore so they could claim it's a million Watts if they want

A 400W inverter powered through a cigarette lighter? Seems a bit impractical. I think most vehicles would have 18–16 AWG wiring and would have a 10A-20A circuit. This would support 120W-240W max. To support the full 400W, you would need more like 8-4 AWG and 30+ amps. I'm sure there are some vehicles out there that can support this, but I would assume most cannot.

Does this impact your battery over a long drive (while plugged in and used during transport)?

I got this in the mail today and tested And the cigarette lighter the maximum it will do is around 60 watts I went ahead and cut the wires and hooked it directly to the battery and guess what The maximum it'll do is 60 watts All they did was inflate the amount of wattage that this will handle to sell more units it's pretty much false advertising but there's no penalty for doing that anymore so they could claim it's a million Watts if they want

100% correct. I have an inverter from 20 years ago. It was "400 watt capable" but required direct connection to the battery. I think it was limited to ~200/250 watts on the cigarette lighter (12 volts x 15/20 amp fuse). But either way it was honest about it's specs and well documented. It still works to this day, just a little loud of a fan when under a decent load which is annoying.

My 4runner has two auxiliary power with 20 AMP fuses on them. I pulled it out and it has 12 gauge wire. A little heavier then most. I have runner blenders on this outlet at concerts before.

Does this work on a tesla model Y to plug on charging port that is inside in the back? And while this give me the ability to plug in items with standard ac adapters like a laptop or a portable vacuum?

It's gonna blow your alternator if you use a real 110v stuff.

It would be better to ask "vansoet" for proof that their inverter can magically pull 400W from a standard 120w socket. As long as there are zero consequences for China's rampant product fraud, assume all miraculous claims are fraud.
