99% not a chance.

Most cars will have an "anti-siphon" device to stop exactly that. Also the filler neck is likely way too small. (in case anyone was actually wondering)

I hear the new method of stealing your gas is simply to drill a hole in your tank, with a bucket/pan underneath. The bastards get $20 worth of fuel (maybe), and you're left with a $800 bill for tow and fuel tank fix. I hate criminals.

This is accurate. My buddy street parks' his Tacoma and is on his 3rd gas tank. He said he was gonna find a welder to put on a thick plate to hopefully deter the next guy.

Idk , Milwaukee makes a transfer pump , slightly different design but it's 200$ , I believe it has a much lower gpm . Milwaukees says it's for water , I've seen on YouTube people use it for all kinds of liquids. I own multiple vehicles, over the weekend I had a coupon for 86 cents off a gallon of fuel. (30 gallons 100$)In my pickup I brought a 5 and a 2gallon gas can I woulda liked to have this pump to fill my other car. I got another vehicle that has a full tank currently that needs some work and may not get it anytime soon I'd like to transfer the gas, this 40$ pump could be useful .

Just pay the $50 or so (Sam's Club) for a SURECAN and be done. No batteries , no charging, pretty much just as easy.

That sucks. I know they make metal shields to protect the cats on tacos, but I don't recall ever seeing a need to protect the damn gas tank! And these things don't even hold that much gas.
edit: 21 gallons max, so is that really even worth the effort to get 1-20 gallons? Ugh, I hate thieves.

I'm a fan of the Scribner "utility jugs," myself, but I've been looking at the Tuff Jugs. Fellow racing buddies use Scribner, VP Racing, and Hunsaker. I don't need ALL OF THE FUEL RIGHT NOW, so I don't use Hunsaker.

That Sam's Club jug is... Interesting.

Yes this would work for any liquid. Someone else mentioned Tuff Jugs and I love mine. I have the long nozzle with the auto-stop feature. It's fantastic for filling up my zero turn mower at 4-5 gallons per fill. I received one of these pumps for Xmas and I'm sure I'm silly but I'm deathly afraid of some cheap Chinese product causing a spark and blowing up in my face.
