Your money is burning a hole in your pocket, or maybe you just want that new gadget with a burning desire. In any case, now is a good time for you to trade up to a new phone or computer.
The problem I see is that resale on this is going to tank pretty fast. I tried to trade in my S24U 1TB and they offered like $400 (back then the s26U launched). I thought it wasn't worth it and was glad I didn't get it. Ended up getting an Oppo Find x9 Ultra 1Tb. It's great! Well, I've only had it about a week.
Does it work well with the USA carriers since it's Chinese?

Samsung trade-in value has historically been bad. Best to sell in FB Marketplace, OfferUp, etc. Sold my S25 Ultra 512gb for $750 when S26 Ultra first came out. Now reselling an Oppo...I expect the depreciation of that to be worse compared to a Samsung brand phone...and the number of folks that would be interested in buying an Oppo phone in the US would be lower as well.

As of this afternoon (6/11), I was to replicate the deal using my workplace discount account and it did take couple of tries. Below is what I did on my desktop to replicate the deal
I had my VPN switched on and location set to anywhere in US (Mine was set to Baltimore)
Then switched to incognito in Google Chrome and used my work place account to reach Samsung discount place
Created a new account using a fresh email to login to Samsung.
The price was not immediately showing up, so I let the account be logged in for about 10-15mins and then hit refresh and it showed the 1TB model (Sky Blue) for $919 after applying the Paypal $150 discount. Make sure to check out with Paypal, else it will take out the paypal discount.
I had first tried by logging into an existing account, didn't work but creating a new account worked. And like I mentioned, it might not show up immediately, just got to try it couple of times but I can confirm it still works. Also, after my order it still shows me 1TB for $1069 but the Paypal discount is no longer applicable as it was used in the previous order. Hoping that someone else is also able to replicate the deal!
Thanks OP. Worked for me on mobile browser. Didn't work on desktop browser or Shop Samsung app. Galaxy S26 Ultra 1TB $919Galaxy Buds4 $37No trade in.Total: $957
I just got device and buds yesterday..great deal.. I bought for same price

You created a new EDU account? I only have one from school and I haven't been able to get anywhere near the prices shown in this thread. Been trying for weeks. There was a similar post about a week or so ago. Never got that to work either.

I created a new Samsung account. EDU/Workplace account is just used to verify your eligibility, so I used my existing workplace account to reach Samsung login page where it asks you to login to samsung account or signup, at that step I created a new Samsung account.
For me, I used my workplace account so this should also work with EDU accounts as well.
You can only choose to use PAYPAL150 if you do not select a carrier. You have to select 'unlocked.' Tmobile is offering $1100 trade in credit but you cannot double-dip with PAYPAL150.

You make good points. Afyer using this for a bit, I plan to keep this phone for 5 to 7 years, so not too worried on resale anymore. My Note 20U was amazing, my S24U, no thank you. The charging and battery life are amazing.
I'm not sure what the magic is, but I can't get this to replicate. I have the same aaa discount others do. Tried doing it on my chrome browser on my phone (both incognito and normal), tried doing it on my pc (edge, Firefox, comet) in incognito and normal. Tried making a new account to see if that works, nada.

Something else noticed is on desktop the Father's Day PAYPAL banner at the top disappears after logging in and the price goes up. On the ideal browser session on mobile the banner stays there and applies all discounts to bring it to $1069 - $150 PAYPAL code.
