HD website shows $2.30 clearance price at my store with 15 in stock. Fingers crossed they'll still have some I can add to my Christmas lights pile...thanks OP

Edit- went to store, none to be found. Employees probably holding them out back for themselves. I don't really need them that badly so I didn't both asking someone to try to locate them.

Seems at least my local HD has done away with putting all of the clearance items on end caps together, making it harder to find good deals. I knew exactly where they all were. That sucks.

The same issue happened to me. The system showed 10 in stock, but the shelves were completely empty. This happens constantly. Store staff definitely stole the clearance items before customers could get them. Don't waste your time looking for clearance items at Home Depot.

Same things happened to me on a couple of these clearances. Talked to one lady and she was told by shift manager to collect the clearances and place them in the back... To supposedly be placed in a different consolidated location later. Most don't make it

Yeah I can't quite understand HDs clearance setup. On their website it shows the normal price but the same sku on the employees phone shows the sale price. Definitely an in store hidden sale on this one.
