To those that don't know there's a $10 "Upgrade Hack" that still works for this Switch2 game.

Requires you to borrow a Switch 1 version but you keep the entire S2 version for yourself.

This is the Slickest way right here! Life hack: Borrow a friend's copy of the Switch one cartridge, play through the intro and then it will give you the option to "upgrade" to the Switch 2 version for $10. What it really does is purchase the full digital copy of the NS2 version of the game to your NSO account and downloads it separately. All the other NS2 upgrades are added on top and require the NS1 cartridge be inserted, unless you're upgrading a digital title in which case it does convert to the NS2 version in your account. Then you open the NS2 version and it will import your NS1 progress (if any) in and you can play the upgraded version.
I ended up buying the NS1 version of the game for $9.99 on sale and doing the $10 upgrade and going back and deleting the NS1 version off my Switch 2 afterward.

"Unethical" life hack: Buy it used at GameStop, do the upgrade and then return the used NS1 cartridge. Conscience vs. how "Slick" of a dealer one is lol.
