These were $3.80 when they went on clearance. I remember my local store had 30 in stock and when I showed up, even loss prevention was asking questions as to why we couldn't find them. I found 1 at another store. It's a great tool and hoping they go on clearance again. Highly recommend it.

Between the ICON Locking Flex-Head Ratchet and Bit Set (35-Piece) and the Husky ratcheting screwdriver, I have yet to find a use for a pivot-ratcheting screwdriver. If you want something for $3.79 (lol, how close someone can be) that performs the task, try the PITTSBURGH Ratcheting Right-Angle Multibit Screwdriver Set (8-Piece).

I remember buying a pivot/ratchet screwdriver frim the dollar store back when I was a kid. I am sure anything that can be bought today is better than the wet noodle that I had! Fun times! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Check it out in store before ordering. I found the handle to be comically large.

From the picture it looks like the bits that come with it have little grooves in them. Presumably to keep them in place. Does anyone who has this know if regular bits without these grooves will stay locked in?

I don't buy screwdrivers that don't use standard bits. They wear out and then what do you do?

looks like it has a standard quick release head that can hold the usual 1/4 bits. Getting the exact one it comes with, is a different matter. The pivot head is just meant for more leverage.
