Was looking around to see if this laptop was available yet and found it on Amazon on sale with delivery in July for less than the price of the base model. It is still more expensive than the same model from the previous year by about 1000 but due to ramageddon and all I guess it's still cheaper than MSRP so it's a good deal if you are looking for this particular model. I know there are other laptops out there with less of a price point with more features but for anyone looking at the Asus Duo line then this is so far the best price I have seen albeit with a delivery date of July 1-19.

I also have the 2025 model. It's been amazing for stock trading while travelling. Will never go back. Only wishlist item is if it had 64gb ram, which the ROG Duo will, but that'll be like $6500.

I have this model, I picked it up in Japan for more than this

It feels really sturdy, and convenient to use

If this deal is real, I'm going to be annoyed

That's a massive premium over just buying a usb-c monitor or two plus a comparable device. Could get an equally specced ROG flow z13 plus portable monitor for $1000+ less

I've tried all sorts of portable monitor setups and the 2026 Zenbook Duo beats them hands down for usability and form factor. Yes - it's more expensive - but 100% worth it. It's my favorite laptop I've ever had. Amazing design. I can't find anything better on the market for someone that travels and works in new places.

How are the speakers on this thing ? And is the Intel ARC graphics on the 388H really good enough for 1080p or 1200p at mid to max settings like some of the claims are stating ?

The speakers are great! They get fairly loud and powerful. I'm not an audiophile so I can't exactly describe well, but the bass side is weak ( which is expected in a thin chassis)

X9 388 h is alright, don't expect top rasterization performance. I have been playing games at mid to low settings alright. I mainly play jrpgs so don't have great benchmarks. It's definitely playable on the go, as long as it isn't your primary gaming machine. The main focus of it is being awesome for productivity, while also being capable of gaming. Xess3 helps for games that have it
