Yes, having no USB 3.0 ports is unacceptable these days.

The use case here is if you regularly have a mouse and keyboard attached to these. Which is what I use on a daily basis. The a USB C 3.2 is the high speed data transfer port.

I recently purchased a different variant of one of these and discovered that it needed a PD connection to allow HDMI use. Something you might want to look into with this one. Another brand did not need to be powered.
