I have had to use PayPal several times for disputes. The first thing they do is try to contact the seller. If they don't respond by whatever set date, you pretty much win the case.

I've bought many sets from VIP Outlet and as everyone says, the box is ALMOST always beat up. I got a minecraft set in today that was in a box with air pillows for protection and it was in perfect condition. Blew my mind! I think if the box is actually in good condition they pack it as they should, but if the box is already a mess, they put it in the white plastic mailer. Sometimes they don't even package it. They just slap the postage label right on the box and ship out. They also have multiple stickers on the box usually. And sometimes I get a set that has been tampered with, missing minifigures or sometimes all of the bags have been replaced with bags from a different set altogether. They work with Walmart and sell their returns and sometimes excess inventory that walmart wants to move out. I will say they always have free returns and I always get my money back. However they are slow in doing so. I never buy from them unless I just don't care about the box condition. Hope this helps someone!

I have purchased smaller LEGO sets from this seller a few times and the package condition on delivery is a hit and miss. I usually purchased the sets for building, so box condition is not my concern. However, I would not recommend buying larger and more expensive sets from them though. One time I purchased a brand new Lord of the Rings Rivendell set at a discounted price from them, and when I receive it, not only the set was not brand new, but inside the box, all the Lego pieces were Chinese knockoff, and was missing the user manual. It took 2-3 weeks to get my money back!

If you care about a set you planning to collect. You shouldn't be getting it from eBay and expect a prestine set. Even getting things in person, at walmart is a hit or miss sometimes

I don't get what the issue is. If the seller doesn't get back to you, you contacted eBay, say the condition isn't new and get it for free when the seller doesn't reply within a week.

DO NOT BUY if you expect GOOD ITEM CONDIDTION

they just ship the lego box and put all fedex shipping label on the box the item arrived with like 5 different stickers from fedex on it.

if you do not care about the box buy it, otherwise SKIP THIS MERCHANT THEY ARE TO LAZY AND CHEAP to use at least an polymailer for the items.

i bought 5 , i returned them all

i was going to comment what everyone else commented - except my previous order literally came with the shipping label on the lego box, not even wrapped in anything. corners and box completely thrashed. YES it was priced well. NO the quality is complete trash. On a side note, i ordered a vaccum from VIP outlet previously, the item came with dust and hair in the bin - crazy lack of quality control.

the one person who quoted 'then go buy it at retail' should be telling VIP outlet to stop selling used and damaged goods. it's borderline scammy.

Wow you guys got yours in poly-mailers? Mine last and only LEGO set from VIPOutlet came with the shipping label stuck on the box itself with zero protection. Yes, it was smashed up. Since I wasn't gifting it, and it wasn't a rare set, I just built it and chucked the box. But I'd much rather spend a little more and get a box I can save.

They do reply if you reach out through eBay, like you should. But you will have to ship it back. No money lost, but time wasted.
