This is one I imagine would be really really cool in a really really specific instance. I had a 12-string acoustic and it made anything sound so orchestral. But 12 strings on an electric is such a niche thing. too much gain and it'd just be noise unless you are really talented at your muting.

Take off 6 strings and make it a 6 string.

Great guitars, but be aware that they are not chambered and are backbreakers. Love my AL-3200MCC, but easily the heaviest guitar i own...the maple neck thru and cap adds lots of weight. Closer to 10 lbs than the 9 stated. Maybe more.

Anyone notice the pic is of a 6-string, not 12? Also, none of the links work--can't "Get deal at Rondo Music." This site can be very frustrating.

That would be a significant reduction in tension on the neck. You'd have to do some work on the trust rod so you don't end up with back bow
