Apparently $4.99 for a cool looking box cutter is a little steep for some people. I'm in for 1 ... 😉

Didn't downvote but this is the best little knife I've ever invested in. Especially since you never have to sharpen it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0...asin_title

I keep a dime under the clip just in case I need to remove the blade and throw it away. No need to throw away the whole device if you can get rid of the blade itself

Curved for precision. Built for control. Is it ribbed for her pleasure?

Have mine 3+ years and first perfect for my edc wallet. Purchase 2-3 a year as gifts. Super solid and better than the WorkPro version

Can you tell me more about keeping a dime under the clip? I don't understand what that has to do with removing the blade.

And if you remove the blade (assuming at an airport?… what other case would require blade removal?) what would you replace the blade with later on?

Not op but I'd assume the dime is to loosen the screw that holds the blade on place. I have one of these myself and it's the preferred go-to for breaking down cardboard in the house.

Most Crown and Smith & Wesson knives are reasonable and under $30

Examples

Good house knife but a bit heavy and blade is a bit weak for EDC $11, made Frontpage , Smith and Wesson
https://slickdeals.net/f/19596567-11-08-3-1-blade-smith-wesson-extreme-ops-folding-knife-at-amazon (made Frontpage) $11 - works as a house knife ,
and
Works as a keychain knife but kinda heavy for being on a keychain imo $13 , reached Popular,Smith and Wesson
https://slickdeals.net/f/19599849-smith-wesson-benji-1-75-tanto-folding-knife-w-bottle-opener-money-clip-13-33-free-shipping-w-prime-or-on-35 (hit popular) $
or this if you don't care that it has no lock (you're doing boxes or other very light work) works as a house knife, but Cold Steel is known for cheap blades that don't hold an edge for long - $6 , Cold Steel
https://slickdeals.net/f/19605963-5-44-cold-steel-kudu-lite-4-25-5cr15mov-steel-clip-point-razor-sharp-blade-5-75-zy-ex-handle-everyday-carry-versatile-folding-knife-at-amazon

If you need the ring lock version of the same Cold Steel knife - $8
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082RPZ...6be3f&th=1

if you want an actual box cutter that is more reliable than the crimped metal version - 2 for $10
https://slickdeals.net/f/19628352-9-98-prime-only-amazon-workpro-2pcs-edc-folding-utility-knife-mini-box-cutter-w-quick-open-axis-lock-quick-change-blade-foldable-with-belt-clip-2-packs-w-10-extra-blades

It is difficult to find a good knife under $15. An EDC that actually doesn't feel like crap will cost you $30 to $50
I also love my Milwaukee Fastbacks and keep 3 of them (pocket, kitchen, upstairs bathroom). They are the only box cutter / razor knife I can flip out

Original and not Lite version correct? Doesn't look like the original is available currently on Amazon, only the Lite version.
