Strongly recommend against this. I "upgraded" from the Inspire 2 to the Charge 6 when my Inspire 2 started having trouble holding a charge after like 7 years of use. The Charge 6 has so many quality of life downgrades it's unreal. Much shorter battery life, much worse UI for accessing text messages (pretty much the most useful feature of a smartwatch/fitness tracker type device is using it for 2fa when your phone isn't right next to you), worse UI for selecting workout type, and the most annoying is worse basic watchface options. What I mean by that is, you generally want to have a variety of data on screen as soon as the face lights up. My Inspire 2 could display step count, heart rate, calories expended for the day, and time all at once, with a screen only 60% as wide as the Charge 6.

The Charge 6 doesn't have a single face layout option that will show you all of that at once without having to tap the face to cycle the display, and have it still be readable. NOT ONE. It has a bunch of bullshit artsy faces that look really cool and don't do the job I need them to do. edit: they added one that has what I wanted at some point, I just checked the app and updated to it.

It's probably the worst device I've owned in the past decade, maybe longer. I would honestly trade it straight up for a brand new Inspire 2. Charge 6 is a perfect encapsulation of the enshitification of technology.

I ordered it more than a year ago and I paid around $100 or $120. The watch band can be replaced and Amazon sells those.
However, I completely stop using it, because my health insurance company does not give out reward anymore. Some health insurance company read the activities from your sport tracking device. If your activities meet the requirement, they give you reward up to a few hundreds dollars per year.
Right now, since there is no reward, I don't wear it.

I've owned my Charge6 since its release. The battery life compared to my Inspire3 was similar. I get about 6 days on a full charge. They've released a new watch face months ago called Momentum, it finally shows all 5 data points at once. I agree with you it's annoying it took this long, but a watch face does exist without needing to cycle. The text msg notifications is fine, how could you read the messages on an even smaller screen like the Inspire2?

Repped. I was almost going to pull the trigger on the BB Open box until I read your comment.

I have the Inspire 3 right now and am in the market for a replacement. Ideally, I would like them to come out with an Inspire 4 with the same slim profile. It's hard to find a smart watch that isn't huge on the wrist.

Just a word of caution on this watch. I had one for two years, wore it daily. One morning I discovered the watch was dead after leaving it to charge. Inspecting the connection point, I saw that the metal was pitted from corrosion. Electricity and sweat don't mix. Others have reported the same issue, and it seems to happen over time, outside of warranty coverage.
I don't know if mine had the same issue (I did clean it often with a toothbrush and the type of cleaner they recommended), but I had a Fitbit Charge years ago. Stopped working after 2 years. Bought another one, same result. I'm not saying that's going to happen to people here, but wanted to post my experience. Switched over to a Garmin Forerunner 255. It's been 2 years now and still runs great.
