Does the standard adult size have any trouble fitting seniors with a tiny wrist snug enough for accurate readings? I doubt manufacturers assume users of child-size products have the same concerns as adults, so I'm not sure if I can find a children's product with the same features, in a similar price range.

My mom has to use a child-size blood pressure cuff on her upper arm, so I wonder if this would be too large for her bony wrist. She wears oxygen at night, so I like that this checks blood oxygen levels while sleeping, even if it only spot checks.

edit: I had to dig into the user manual but:

"Charge 6 comes with a small band attached and an additional large, bottom band inthe box. Both the top and bottom bands can be swapped with accessory bands, sold separately".

Band sizes
Small - Fits a wrist between 5.5 - 7.1" (140 mm - 180 mm) in circumference

Large- Fits a wrist between 7.1 - 8.7" (180 mm - 220 mm) incircumference

So, the smallest wrist size is 5.5"

Would a senior who is technically hopeless be able to use this, if I set everything up for them?

Can I monitor their info/view reports at least if I also log into their account on my phone (and they can stay logged in on their phone, as well)? or do I have to be within Bluetooth range of the device? Or is there a web interface I can use? Basically, is there a way I can watch for problems on a relative's device (if they know about it, keeping an eye on mom)?

Silver case with a white band and black case with a black band available for an additional $20 if you want something a little more understated.

If you just ordered this on Amazon for $99 and are still within your return window, the Ai return agent offered me a partial refund equal to the price difference if I just kept it. So YMMV, but worth a try if you just bought one

What did you put as the return reason?

Not anymore it's tied to Google account now

I placed returns just saying that I didn't want it anymore and they did not give me a hard time through Amazon and either offered the refund or like this person said offered a post-purchase coupon basically refunding it partially just to keep the product

Ugh, that's doable for a price of the right slickness, but highly unfortunate. Thanks for the info, though. Repped.

I hate when accounts are tied to Google (if that's the only option) or social media, since I manage the tech for the whole family and that complicates logins. Amost universal adoption or 2fa just compounds the headache.

I guess you can add their Google account to your phone

True, but I was just hoping to add a shortcut to the logged-in Fitbit "dashboard" website (assuming there is one) on my home screen, so I didn't have to install another app. And that won't work (in one click) if the Fitbit website account is Google based.

I can switch between Google accounts, it's just less than elegant. First world problems, but a less than ideal solution.

Just a word of caution on this watch. I had one for two years, wore it daily. One morning I discovered the watch was dead after leaving it to charge. Inspecting the connection point, I saw that the metal was pitted from corrosion. Electricity and sweat don't mix. Others have reported the same issue, and it seems to happen over time, outside of warranty coverage.
