They are great. If you need oven mitts just buy it. They are cheap on sale and plenty large. They are a little rigid in shape but you can grasp things well enough, and the silicone means they stay clean. The inside is also comfortable and doesn't get old food odor like some of the cloth ones. Can't speak to other brands, but these have been great.

I got these. Highly recommend. Pretty standard gloves, but they keep out the hot very well compared to others. The silicone meters it rest to clean if you get food residue on them.
