the last deal I did that was automatic for me was for the iPhone 17 upgrade a few months ago when you could trade a broken Samsung device.
I would call up Tmobile and ask what values you would get for your trades. I doubt the 11pro would get much. the $830 tier starts at iPhone 13, 13 mini, 14, and 14 plus...this level would be less for you IF your rate plan qualifies. I traded in 2 16e's, a 13 and a 13 mini
so I just called and they told me my iphone 15 Pro (512gb) would get me only $620, and I would still own $800 plus for a 17 Pro 1tb. Does not seem worth it imo

for example, that 17 pro would be 'free' via $1,100 in 24 credits.
I would buy a cheap 16e if you were to do this deal and sell the 15 pro privately.
I know it might be more work for some but here is an example:
buy the metro 16e deal for around $180. use that to trade in for your 1tb. sell your 15 pro for minimum $350 but I'm sure you could get more...and use that money to pay for the extra storage price of your 1tb
The sales rep advised me not to trade in my phones right now. He said it's a bad time to upgrade and that I should wait until the new phones come out. He confidently claimed that the $1,100 trade-in promotions will still be available when the new models launch.
Does this sound accurate? Can anyone confirm if it's safe to wait, or is he guessing? I just want to make sure I don't miss out on the current deals by waiting too long. Thanks!

You have the Next plan so you might be safe but they can change the tiers
also, a lot of people are speculating if the price of the iPhones will go up with the latest increase of apple products....a base iPad is now $450! it's crazy at the moment.

You could try calling the Tmobile Costco line and doing it through them. They will try to push accessories and extras so it's up to you. I've done several upgrades with them and I feel bad to say no since they need to make a sale but I have never added any extras.
