T-Mobile: Starting 7/13/26, your current phone plan is being retired, and you will transition to a modern plan with enhanced features. Phone lines increase up to $6 per line per month.
Rest assured, you'll keep your current benefits, plus we're adding more benefits and improved service experiences. Moving forward, you also get our 5-Year Price Guarantee.
If anyone is interested in getting the latest info including pricing, tmo.report has a post about the new plans and includes pricing that's in a linked spreadsheet. You can AI chat in the T-Life app on the main line account and ask for the SOC of the plan you're being migrated to. It'll give you the code that you can cross reference with the spreadsheet.
Some legacy plans that they cut off access to trade-in deals like this might be getting them back with the forced migration to a new plan. Time will tell on that though.
The sales rep advised me not to trade in my phones right now. He said it's a bad time to upgrade and that I should wait until the new phones come out. He confidently claimed that the $1,100 trade-in promotions will still be available when the new models launch.
Does this sound accurate? Can anyone confirm if it's safe to wait, or is he guessing? I just want to make sure I don't miss out on the current deals by waiting too long. Thanks!
that costco rep is an idi0t....
It's rare for the Go5G Plus to get this $1.1K amount AND compound that the iphone 18 pro will most likely be $200-$300 more when it released based on Apple's recent price increases on all their product AND the iphone 13 pro falls off the list so it requires 14 pro at minimal when 18 pros comes out.
again, costco rep is an idiot....
Thank you.. going to do two more at apple store tomorrow. I finally was able to get two iphone 13 pros at $240 each locally, ran out of 16es from the cricket banaza
edit: is there a point to trading something in a Costco for new customers? Looks like $1100 billing credits anyway.

T-Mobile charges $10 activation fee for new lines and $35 for upgrade on an existing line. Buying at Costco T-Mo kiosk waives it. Also, at Costco you get $250-450 per new line and $75-100 Costco Card per upgrade. You just place order at the kiosk. Phones will be shipped. You can trade in within 30 days at a local corporate store after receiving your new phone.

Looks like Costco gives $1100 billing credits for new line or port in without trade in. I'm guessing if you trade in you get the same credits and not more. I doubt it stacks.
