Good deal and I bought it last time, but the Kobalt cartridge system is not nearly as nice as the ryobi.
Advancing the filament is the bump (wack on the ground repeatedly) style compared to the autoadvance on spin down on the ryobi. The dual filament on the kobalt seems nice until you have to reload it.

I got this last year, the battery died a few weeks ago and trying to do a warranty replacement has been the most frustrating experience. Kobalt sends me to lowe's, lowe's sends me to kobalt, then kobalt back to lowe's. Then they make you return everything that was included in the pack, and they turn you away if you don't have one of the pieces, I had sold the trimmer already and now they won't accept it

I have one that is 6 or more years old and has worked fine. Easy to load compared to a more expensive Green Machine which is a POS. I also epoxied a large and thick metal washer on the bottom to prevent the rubber from being mutilated by the concrete I tap it on.

I bought this setup when it first came out years ago. I think I paid $129 back then. It's a great setup at this price point. The battery still holds a decent charge all these years later. Didn't think I needed a leaf blower but it's actually nice to have for after mowing cleanup.

Nice tip on the washer. I may try that on my Kobalt 80v trimmer which is a bump feed.
