For every day productivity it's still 100% fine with no hiccups or slow downs that I've been aware of. It's just old and won't run W11, which is why I'd like something like this for everyday tasks and my old rig for gaming. Heck, I've been told that the APU in this mini PC can handle some light gaming, which would be nice.

Thanks for the advice, though, I appreciate it. I plan to wait until the holidays to buy something anyway. I'm just trying to wrap my head around the options now, if I end up having to buy something.
I've got Lenovo Gaming 3 with a 3050 ti and fifth? Gen ryzen 5, as well as 16GB of DDR4 as my "modern" machine. I got it for cheap, new, from Best Buy when they tried to sell me a scratched up floor model as an open box "excellent". With the exception of the mediocre screen, the laptop has been great. Plays Frost Punk great lol
As far as TPM, I don't think that's the only issue with such an old PC, right? I looked it up a couple of years ago and could not figure it out. Before I spend money on a cheap DD PC I'll try one more time to figure it out. I'd love to give my Dell XPS another few years of main-use life

- Soldered RAM seems to lead to cheaper mini pcs.
- Soldered RAM is uses less power = Less heat.
- Soldered RAM can be much faster than sodimm ram. This RAM is 5500 MT/s.
- 24gb is plenty for most anything. You'll be limited by the iGPU, before you are limited by RAM... Especially without an eGPU port.
This is a great COMPLETE home/office/emulation/cloud-gaming/etc... system. Especially in these trying times. Thanks for the advice, though, I appreciate it. Beyond that, research mini PC manufacturers, they're not OEMs, many issues, particularly this one, which is why they're always showing up here, incentivized, promoted, "discounted", but definitely not deals.

Regarding 24GB of RAM... I personally have 32GB but 24GB should be enough for most people but who wants enough?
So, do you think this is the best deal around? Me Personally... you are so damn close to a 780m... like the very next CPU up in AMD such as the 7840HS or the 8745HS both of those have a 780m. And while that CPU at this price with these specs, it is always with 16GB of RAM that is upgradeable.
It seems when I search those CPU's on Ebay something comes up.
