You can look at my series of comment edits the last time this was posted. I confirmed with the seller and support that it's shipped with only hardwire.
Edit: A few people reported that it did come with a pigtail. So, my comment is now moot.
If you already have a 240v outlet and it's just a plug in installation, that's one thing, but if you're getting it hardwired the electrician probably isn't going to spring for higher gauge wiring/higher amp braker to future proof for a more capable install in the future unless you specifically request it. Plug in 240v are also limited to 40 amps, so you're leaving capability on the table if you use a plug vs. hardwire.

For your Model Y Juniper
The biggest advantage of the Tesla charger isn't charging speed (both can charge at 48A). It's the convenience:
Feature ............... Tesla Universal Wall Connector.......... WOLFBOX WE48
Uses Tesla app......................................Yes............................. .... No
Separate charger app required .......... No ..................... ................. Yes
Native Tesla plug ........................... Yes ................................... No (adapter needed)
Firmware updates .................. Tesla app ........................... WOLFBOX app
Charge data in Tesla ecosystem ......... Yes .......................... Limited
Multi-charger power sharing ......... Yes .......................... Limited/unclear
For a Tesla owner, especially if you expect to keep the car several years, the Tesla charger's integration is one of its strongest selling points. Many owners feel that advantage alone is worth the roughly $100–150 higher purchase price. You essentially get an appliance that feels like part of the car rather than a third-party accessory.
Since I have a Tesla, I'm sticking with getting a Tesla brand EV charger even though it cost a little more because of the app is integrated. Relative has the Tesla EV Charger and praises the seamless integration.
The Tesla Universal EV Charger comes with both EV charger format plugs. They are integrated to both rest in the cradle and easily use either format plug just by pushing a release button to leave the J1772 plug in the cradle position as you remove the handle which then only has the Tesla format plug. Then you just put the handle back in the cradle with the Tesla format plug easily seated in the back of the J1772 plug. If you want to use the J1772 format plug, you just remove the handle without pushing the release button that disconnects the two format plugs from each other. Excellent user ergonomic and convenient design.
The Wolfbox will need the Tesla format plug adaptor. Will the Wolfbox cradle accept the Tesla format plug adaptor when you go to put the handle back in the cradle or will you need to remove it to put the handle back in the cradle? If it does not allow the Tesla format plug to rest in the cradle while attached to the handle, then that means you will be removing the handle from the Wolfbox to use it and then manually attaching the Tesla format plug adaptor every time, then disconnecting the adapter every time to put the handle back in the cradle. Not a big deal. But not as convenient.

Thank you!
What smart features does it have? If you buy 2 of them can it figure out how to schedule charge both of them so that 2 cars are charged by the morning?
