So I have now done $110 in 10 purchases for $100 credit... all qualified for the 10x UR points. I am afraid to do more until I see evidence of the $10 per transactions statement credit. So far, no one has received any credits.

Feel like people are acting like this is dead for newegg first party gift cards, but am i missing something, seems to still work and its not listed as an exclusion?

I got $400 in on third party GC's and $100 on dunkin. Def wish i went in for my last 3 cards, but $300 at newegg aint bad either

I wish others would do what Amazon & Apple do - use gift cards to load a separately maintained account balance.
100%. I bought in for HD and Lowes because their apps support loading the GCs, which feels a bit "safer" of preventing GC drain, and because I'm going to be spending $$ there anyway. People seem to be unaware or forgetful of all the stories of $500 airlines GCs and other stories being drained and the victims being SOL.

There are multiple issues with this idea. One buying 10 orders of gift cards is not abuse. Second newegg has no incentive to stop this offer. They are making money for every order. It is the banks that are paying out the statement credits.

The banks are not issuing the credit. Paze is. 10 may not fit the definition of abuse but 30 or more within several hours going through several credit cards, that will fit Paze's definition of abuse.

Newegg did stop the offer by removing Paze.

Eh just switch TurboTax between me and spouse for the hack there
FreeTaxUSA ftw. I do pay to "upgrade" it for Pro support but at least I'm not contributing to companies that have actively made it harder (i.e. more expensive) for all of us to file taxes.

Paze likely told newegg to remove that option for external gift cards. Newegg has no incentive to do so on their own accord.

I do not see how legally buying 30 gift cards is considered abuse. They set a limit of 10, and if the consumers adhere to that limit there cannot be abuse. In any case, it is worth the risk for me as I am buying gift cards I would normally use.

Anyone here get the Cheesecake Factory GCs from Newegg? I am trying to check the balance of the GC on the official cheesecake factory website and it keeps saying:

"You have entered an invalid card or PIN number or a system error has occurred."

I copy/pasted the GC and PIN to avoid typing errors.

You can buy 40 and say it's not abuse. Problem is Paze did not write that clause for individuals but probably as a collective. If so, "the program" is being abused. That's how Paze can get out of this without fearing a lawsuit. Believe me, I want to buy more but when Newegg removed the Paze option, that's a red flag for now.

It's laughable that people think in our current political and business climate that they have any rights in situations like these. Being a hassle to reps can get you pretty far, but the ends have to justify the means. There's way less power for the consumer now than even 2 years ago (CFPB being doge'd, etc).
Exactly you'll be told to f- off and then you have to wait several years for a possible class action. The mood of the nation based on the government eventually rubs off on the citizens, not sure why people don't get this. These days it's all about dishonesty, getting ahead, me first.

at the end of the day its always about farkin the people. sure they have a right to pull it once many orders go in but to fark people who already placed it? wouldn't surprise me in todays world where its all about sticking it to the little person whenever they can.

if we think back to a similar incident with PayPal, it ended up being half and half. several people were able to get over the finish line but most people got the shaft meaning about less than half of their numerous ordered were allowed. the earlier the better, some 100% some 75%. there was a hard deadline where 0% were told to f- off. sd effect. just like this one.
