I was finally able to get the deal after much trial and error. Make sure you have a VPN turned on; I used an Ohio location, but others work as well. With whatever VPN, make sure shields and any protections against trackers and cookies are turned off. In your Edge browser settings, allow all cookies and disable 'block third-party cookies.' Also, make sure you are in Incognito mode. I tried a normal tab with no Samsung cookies, but when I clicked the blue banner at the top, it refreshed with no price change. Just search for the Samsung site, accept all cookies (make sure preferences all say yes), log in, and then go to shop for the S26 Ultra. Wait for the blue banner at the top, click 'buy now,' and the page should refresh with the correct price. If you do all this, it should work.

I pulled the trigger, $750 without trade-in. Samsung went on sale much less frequently in the past year, probably due to the memory price hike. $750 for the latest Ultra 512gb is a great deal even before the memory shortage, not to say now. That said, I hope I could have traded in my old Note 20 Ultra. I liked it when Samsung took my old device back.
